Book Club Wrap-Up - Fried Green Tomatoes
Thanks to everyone who joined us for last week's book discussion of Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe by Fannie Flagg. We had a great time visiting while eating the delicious food at Irondale Cafe!
Summary:
This meeting was a special one because it was our first off-site meeting and for a couple of other reasons, too. This meeting marked our 2nd anniversary of book club at the library. Yay! And Fried Green Tomatoes is a book that is very dear to the Irondale community, especially the library because Fannie Flagg researched at our very library when she was writing the book - how exciting!

Fried Green Tomatoes is the countywide selection of Project Read One Book. There are events and book club meetings all over Jefferson County - check out the calender of events for more info.
